General Guidelines

We welcome participants to submit their original abstracts related to graphene, 2D materials and related fields of investigation to RPGR 2023.

All abstracts must be submitted before July 22, 2023 (31 August, 2023 for breaking news submissions) through the On-line Abstract Submission System. Also note that breaking news submissions will be a very small proportion of total posters/talks (~5 %), and will be held to a higher editorial standard. Participants can create a login account which can be used for abstract submission, as well as registration. Only ONE abstract can be submitted per user account.

Abstracts must contain original data and meet international ethical standards. Accepted abstracts will be published in the Conference Abstract Book.

All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Program Committee of the RPGR 2023 and reviewing results will be announced by emailing a notice of acceptance/rejection to presenting authors by August 15, 2023 (September 15, 2023 for breaking news submissions).

Presenting authors of abstracts accepted for presentation MUST be registered delegates and will be responsible for all expenses incurred in the production of their presentations, travel, and accommodation during the Conference.

The Scientific Program Committee of RPGR 2023 reserves the right to accept or refuse an abstract, to designate abstracts either oral or poster presentation and to choose a suitable session for the abstract. Accepted abstracts will be presented in either thematic Poster Sessions or Oral Sessions presented between 20-23 November 2023.

It is the author’s responsibility to submit a correctly edited and accurate abstract. Any errors in spelling, grammar or scientific fact will be reproduced as typed by the author. Abstracts will be rejected if they contain no data or if the English is unacceptable.

Abstract Preparation Guidelines

The abstract must be written and presented in English.

The user of the account used for submission will be recognized as the ‘Presenting Author‘ of the submitted paper.

The abstract should be prepared on a single A4 page in PDF file. Please refer to the Abstract Template to prepare your abstract. Only abstracts that meet requirements will be considered for presentations.

Preference for presentation type should be indicated in your submission. However, the final presentation made for each paper will be decided by the Scientific Program Committee’s evaluation and will be advised to the author within the acceptance notice.

An acknowledgment of the receipt of the abstract will be sent automatically to the presenting author by e-mail upon the online submission.

In case you face any difficulty in accessing the on-line abstract submission system, please contact the RPGR 2023 Registration Office at secretariat@rpgr2023.org
